Tricks To Solve With Vedic Maths

Vedic Mathematics is a very methodical, streamlined, and cohesive method of solving complex mathematical problems like 998 X 997. It is an effective tool that boosts the growth and usage of perception and innovation in the students. It offers the students loads of flexibility, entertainment, and gratification.

The procedures and methods of Vedic Mathematics are centered on the revolutionary work of late Swami Shri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji, Sankaracharya of Puri. He created the system by studying the antediluvian Vedic transcripts together with a thoughtful understanding of the natural progression of mathematical reasoning.

In Vedic maths classes, you are taught 16 sutras or formulae, which can solve every identified mathematical problem of mathematics pertaining to Geometry, Algebra, Arithmetic, and Calculus. Given below are a few tips and tricks from Vedic maths course that will help you get quick answers to your complicated mathematical problems:

  1. Multiplication of two two-digit numbers

Select any 2 numbers for example 17 and 19.

Put the higher number i.e. 19 at the top and the second digit of the smaller number i.e. 7 in the bottom.

Now Add 19 with 7, i.e. 19 +7=26 and then multiply 26 by 10, i.e. 26 X 10 = 260

Next, multiply the digits of unit place of both numbers, i.e., 7 X 9 = 63.

Now add both the number, i.e. 260+63 = 323.

  1. Multiplication of 11 with any two-digit number

Select any two digit number like 52 and then separate both the number as 5 and 2.

Then add both the numbers, i.e. 5 + 2 = 7.

The final answer of 11 X 52 would be 572.

Exception: – In case the answer is 4 digits number then the carry 2nd digit over to the first digit.

For instance, select 56 X11.

Separate the numbers as 5 and 6.

Now add, 5+6=11 then the next step would be 5116.

Now, carry the 2nd digit to the first digit and add them, i.e. number 1 to 5 and add 5+1=6

Thus, the answer is 616.

  1. Squaring of two digits number that ends with 5

Select 2 numbers such as 35 and multiply last two digits, i.e. 5×5=25

Then add 1 to the first digit ‘3’, i.e. 1+3=4

Next multiply 4 with the first digit ‘3’, i.e. 4×3=12

Therefore, the answer is 1225.

  1. Squaring of any two-digit numbers

Select any number like 88.

Now add or subtract a number that will make it to its closest multiple of 10.

Here, you will be adding 2 to the number 88, to reach the nearest multiple of 10, i.e., 88+2=90

In the next step, (88+2) x (88-2) =90 x 86 = 7740

Now the added number was 2. Square this number and add it to the above-given result, i.e.

Square of 2= 4, and 7740 + 4 = 7744 will be the answer.

  1. Multiplying any three-digit numbers

Pick any two three-digit numbers such as 308 and 306.

Then subtract the number at units place from both the chosen numbers, i.e. 308-8 = 300, and 306-6 = 300.

Now select one number from two selected ones, and then add the unit digit of another number to it, i.e. let’s choose 308 and add unit digit of 306, i.e. number 6 to it, i.e. 308+6=314.

Then in the next step multiply, 314 X 300 = 94200

Now multiply the unit digits of both chosen numbers 308 and 306, i.e. 8×6=48

Next add 48 into 94200, i.e.  94200 + 48= 94248.

Therefore, the final answer to the multiplication of 308 and 306 will be i.e. 308 X 306 = 94248.
